High School Clubs & Activities

  • Teachers and students work together to build the team

    When: Weekly January – February during Homeroom

  • Students will be participating in group projects that focus on agriculture and the environment surrounding the school. Such projects include building/maintaining gardens. Independent research surrounding agriculture and the environment is also highly encouraged.

  • Aviation club is here to encourage aviation understanding & employment opportunities for our students.  We are working with community members in the industry to provide opportunities for students to learn about flying & meet people in the industry.  Here is a LINK to the upcoming Piston & Props event in Janesville on August 28.

  • The Student Book Club provides a welcoming space for readers of all backgrounds to discover exciting books, share unique perspectives, and connect with peers through a shared love of reading.

  • We are putting on the production of Quest: One Play to Rule Them All.

  • Leadership Club that students must apply for in the spring.

  • This club is built around problem spolvng through competitive challenges that encourage creativity, teamwork, and time management. Students design, build, and test innovative solutions while preparing for regional and national competitions, where they apply engineering principles.

    This club participates in SkillsUSA & EMDC

    When: Once per week September – May

  • Esports is run both as a sport and as a club. The club component provides a video game community where students can play common games together in a supervised environment while learning how to become well-rounded digital citizens. Our program is driven by teamwork and respectful communication.

    When:  Fall Season Sept-Nov, Winter Season Dec.-Feb, Spring Season Mar.-May

  • Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students learn about business and careers and can compete in various events.

  • Forensics is a public speaking competition. Students choose a category and attend meets. The competition season starts in February and runs through April.

  • Suicide Prevention and Positive Mental Health

  • Club for students to produce and perform in multiple Media formats.

    When: Mondays/Thursdays

  • The purpose of the National Honor Society is to “create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools.”

    Membership in the Society is not something for which students can apply, but rather an honor bestowed upon students by a faculty council and is based on outstanding scholarship, leadership, character and service.

  • The mission of the Williams Bay High School Student Council is to have a positive impact on the community: our school community, our Williams Bay community, and our greater community.  The WBHS Student Council will work to enhance the experience of students and staff through promoting school spirit, representing students’ opinions, coordinating student and community events, and providing volunteer opportunities outside of the classroom. 

    When: Monthly meeting Wednesday mornings 7:10

  • We do cultural and community-related activities (fieldtrips, bilingual story time, Socktober and other charity drives, t-shirt design contest, cuisine, movies)

  • The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award encoourages young people to improve mental and physcial health, build meaningful connections, give back to their communities, and embrace structure and purpopse. Students will create a self-development program where they set goals, challenge themselves, leave their comfort zones, and gain valuable skills.
